Sun Sounds of Arizona provides audio access to information to people in the Southwest who cannot read print because they have a disability.

Service can be accessed three ways:
on the radio,
on the web,
and on the phone.

Thanksgiving Programming Schedule

On Thursday, Nov. 26, regularly scheduled programming will be pre-empted for these holiday specials:
10am: American Holiday-Thanksgiving
6:00pm: Black Friday Ads/Retail store ads
7:00 Nadine’s Café - a radio drama play from Flagstaff
7:30-9pm DVS Movie - Miracle on 34th Street

December DVS Movie of the Month

5 Corners airs Saturday, December 5 at 8pm.

Vehicles for Charity Program

Do you have a car, truck, motor home, or other unused vehicle that’s taking up space and costing you money to maintain?

Sun Sounds is accepting cars or trucks as a charitable donation when they are in good condition (no junkers please) as well as certain other vehicles such as RV’s. You get rid of something you no longer use and you help Sun Sounds of Arizona to provide this valuable information access service.

What's New

Your Support Matters

Oregon, Idaho, Philadelphia and Lancaster, PA all lost their reading services this year due to inadequate support and a bad economy. As a result, tens of thousands of blind and disabled people are cut off from their neighborhoods and towns. Reading services in Pittsburgh and across Florida were severely cut back due to lack of funds.

Sun Sounds of Arizona is only able to serve because you support it. We recognize that these are tough times, but for those without a reading service it is even more difficult.
