A Celebration of Independence,
and suspense dramas “The Pursuit on Lundy Island” and "The Pursuit of the Elusive Ransom.” The East Valley Tribune will not air on July 4.

What's New

July 4 Special Programming

On Saturday, July 4 Sun Sounds presents the following special programming starting at 6pm:
a special Space Show by Rich Kirchner includes the story of a rocket scientist who socializes service dogs, and the new rocket he is working on for the Orion Project that will replace the shuttle and take us to Mars.
Independence: More Than Just an Idea, produced by WCRS, is a look at the Declaration of Independence, its signers, and the Pledge of Allegiance.
A Celebration of Independence, produced by HTBR, relives the designation of July 4th as a national holiday, recounts the history of the Liberty Bell, and looks at the fate of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence. 4th of July recipes are also included.
And two suspense dramas will round out the evening, "The Pursuit of Lundy Island" and "The Pursuit of the Elusive Ransom" directed by Jim Amdahl and starring Sun Sounds volunteers Bruce Halperin, Bill Davis, Bill and Janean Diekmann, Mike Churcuzio, and Alan Jeffory.
